As you are probably aware, today is Giving Tuesday. Established in 2012 as an international day of generosity, Giving Tuesday is a great opportunity to support organizations and institutions that make our communities a better place.
I've long thought this was a great idea. Yes, we should all be showing our generosity all the time. But sometimes its helpful to have a little nudge. From providing Thanksgiving dinners to needy families to enrichment options for community members to just free summer fun for kids at its splash pad, the Goodman Community Center is a vital part of Madison's eastside community. You can contribute either at their website or from the donation link on my Facebook page.
