Hüga rather than Huger House

The tiny house thing really fascinates me. I love the idea in principal; economy of space, significantly lower climate impact, ease of construction and movement, etc. But the practicality of living in one always seemed a little...idealistic.  I mean, let's face it, there's only so much cuddling you can do before you need a little personal bubble time. And in 150 sq. ft., those bubbles are pretty skinny and hard to find.

The Hüga House, created and designed by the Argentinian company Grandio, may solve the living on top of one another issue though. A prefabricated home of just under 500 sq. ft. it doesn't require a foundation, can be put up in roughly a day, and uses a variety of really stunning design features to squeeze a lot of living space into a pretty small package. And apparently it is equally as happy in sub-zero climates and rain forests. The name comes from the Danish philosophy of wellness and contentment called Hygge. Check it out!
