I tend to listen to a lot of podcasts in the car. I don't have a lot of patience for commercial radio anymore and podcasts are a really great substitute. I alternatively find them illuminating or relaxing...depending on the topic and tone. And to be honest, sometimes I get disengaged and just find the background noise soothing. But one that keeps me engaged the entire episode every time is Cautionary Tales with Tim Harford. The show describes itself as drawing "essential lessons from spellbinding stories of disaster." And boy does it!
