In recognition of International Women's Day, I thought I'd do another podcast recommendation! Now, if you're like me, you really enjoy boring your children with history podcasts in the car. And one that I really enjoy boring them with is Gone Medieval, which is part of the History Hit network. The current episode is a really great one about the lives of medieval women. Co-host and archeologist Cat Jarman interviews professor Eleanor Janega about the lives of medieval women, and the myths surrounding them. Fun fact I learned: women were almost always the beer brewers!
