A quick book recommendation today; Burning Down the Haus: Punk Rock, Revolution and the Fall of the Berlin Wall by Tim Mohr. Published in 2018, it tells the story of the Punk kids and young adults who helped destabilize and ultimately end the totalitarian regime in East Germany. Starting in the late 70s and ending with the fall of the wall, it's a very cool story of determined protest against violent oppression. If you are Gen Xer with iconoclastic and punk sensibilities (though they may have mellowed with age over the years...hey, it happens...), I promise you'll dig this. Even if you now dig it in a decidedly unpunk 4bd/2.5 bath Ranch Rambler....
