I’m pleased to announce that I am now a Preferred Agent Partner for Teacher Next Door, a nationwide program that assists teachers and other educational staff and professionals in the purchase of their next home. Teacher Next Door provides grants in the form of closing cost credits for up to $4170, as well as down payment assistance up to $10681, to help educators get into a home. There are no fees and the grants do not need to be repaid. In addition, educational professionals can use the program to refinance current property.
In addition, the program is also available to public service and governmental employees; public safety professionals; nurses, doctors, and other medical staff and administrators; professors and other faculty and staff of colleges and universities; and active and retired military.
I’m thrilled to be a part of this program. As a Realtor, one of my goals has always been to help more people get into a home, especially their first home. This program really can make a difference for potential home buyers, and in some cases mean the difference between buying and not buying a home.
