One of the Thanksgiving traditions in our house is going to the grocery store with the Goodman Community Center Thanksgiving Basket Drive item list in our hands, buying at least one of every item, and dropping that complete dinner off at the Center. To quote Blur, it gives us a sense of enormous well being.
This year, I'm proud to say that Weichert, Realtors-Lakepoint is joining us in that tradition with our 1st Thanksgiving Food Drive. Through Friday November 13, you can drop off non-perishable food items at our office at 2045 Atwood Ave. between 9-1. Then, on Saturday November 14, we will hold an in-person drop off event from 10-12 at my house at 4705 Jade Ln! You can stop by with non-perishable items as well as turkeys during that time, and then I will deliver the whole shebang to Goodman Community Center that afternoon!
This year, the Goodman Community Center's goal is to provide 4000 Thanksgiving dinners to needy families around Dane County. You can help them do that by contributing to the Weichert, Realtors-Lakepoint Food Drive!
