Last week I announced on here that I am now a Preferred Agent for Teacher Next Door. Teacher Next Door is a program that provides teachers and educational workers with grants in the form of closing cost credits when they use the program while purchasing their next house. There is no charge to participate and Wisconsin teachers can get up to $4000+ in grants. There are no restrictions on properties either. Pretty nice deal honestly.
Another great part of the program is that it's not only for teachers. They also have the Nurse Next Door program, which provides the same assistance for anyone working in healthcare, including non-medical staff. As with Teacher Next Door, there is no fee to use the program. The only requirement is that you do have to use one of their lender partners.
