David was truly amazing. With having a person in a wheelchair within our household, so we couldn't just settle for any house and then, plan for remodels later. There are accommodations that are needed upon move in, ie.. you can't make a 90 degree turn from a wheelchair into a bathroom, if the hallway is too narrow to even hit a 45. David surveyed each home, went out of his way with taking measurements and looking at angles to ensure ease of moving around. When we toured homes, he talked through all the pros and cons of each including the landscaping, even advising when trees would have to be removed due to their condition. This could be a significant cost for the buyer, that most wouldn't even be thinking about at the time. He was attentive and prompt with responses to all of our (many) questions, and provided a wide range of home listings for us to review. It's no secret that it's currently a "sellers market", anticipating ups and downs as a buyer is to be expected, especially when you see homes go for almost 15k over asking price. David was great as an advisor and an amazing buyers advocate. In the end, he found us a house that was within our budget and still had everything we needed to call it a home. Thank you so much to David and Weichert Realtors for their outstanding and personable customer service! Some realtors can come off as pushy, just looking to close a deal and receive their commission. David, however, makes you feel like family, with truly your best interests as the focus of the journey.

About David Pausch
In November of 2000, I closed on my first house, a rough-around-the-edges 1922 colonial with lots of sun, not a lot of storage, and an enormous oak tree in its postage stamp-sized back yard. From the second I stepped in the door, I was hooked on the warm, rooted feeling home ownership gave me. My goal is to help you find that same feeling. A native Wisconsinite, I have lived in Madison for the better part of three decades. When I'm not helping people achieve their dream of home ownership, I am a theatre artist, an aspiring home chef and brewmaster, a committed conservationist, and happily installing native gardens at my Rolling Meadows home.
